Bernard believed in equality, he took the piss out of everyone.

That last joke was so so beautifully timed and, Esther, it was JUST A JOKE.

Telling a joke is not as bad as knowing your friend destroys young children

I cannot stand that Rantzen woman. Manning showed her up beautifully and effortlessly.

I believe Bernard Manning had more morals than Esther Rantzen ever did.

I went to watch Bernard on my 18th birthday at the embassy club..met him afterwards and had photos with him...he had me on stage as i am six foot four and he made fun of me and my family...he said my girlfriend was better than the bag i brought in last week and all sorts...he told jokes about every race and religious belief and everybody and everything. Him and Billy Connolly are the best comedians ever without doubt. And what he did for charity and never told anyone as well...he deserved a Knighthood.

I've seen him about 5 times in a small club in Leeds. He used to do a lot of smaller virtually unknown venues. He was on the working mans wavelength and of course he was hilarious. Loved him . Your sides were aching when he'd finished

I'm on bernards side, absolutely brilliant.
In 1977 if only the audience knew then what we know now, hey Esther.

Bernard was Honest about things and he made a lot of good turned a blind eye to what Savile was up to, a Hypocrite...

Well Magnus Magnusson was a learned man and he roared with laughter. Parky was in fits as well, as was the audience. So, Esther Rancid, who do YOU think got it wrong? Never did have a sense of humour. That's Life proved that.
