I can only agree with the below viewers comments. This video leaves a lot to be desired.

Agree with Keith Knopf above. For an instructional video, this one leaves out MUCH to be desired. In addition to Mr. Knopf’s comments, why not explain how to fill the Primer Tube Assemblies instead of just leaving it for us to figure it out on our own? That’s not even touched on in the hard copy instructions included with the tool. No pictures showing exactly how to do this. Anyway, just my very humble $0.02 worth.

Com'on RCBS, you can do a LOT better than that. First off, note that you have an unmarked bag with the small parts. This contains two identical Primer Rods, two identical springs, one bolt with a Large Head, one bolt with a Small Head, one Large Primer Cup, and one Small Primer Cup. Please use the video to show these differences. In less than bright light, or for those who need reading glasses, these differences aren't real obvious. That's the beauty of having an instructional VIDEO. Then use close up video showing assembling the things - we don't watch videos so that we can see the guy standing there in his shop talking, we want to SEE it. Next, reshoot the video and put a shell holder in the damn thing! Now go get some primers and actually load a few primers into brass. Sure would make a lot more interesting video and probably help out some who haven't played with this stuff for years.

What depth are you seating your primers at ? Factory shells are 0.004" below flush. I get better groups with 0.007" below flush. some like 0.008" to 0.010" below. You got about 0.013" to 0.015" below flush before you bottom out.. Better to go lower for floating firing pin guns. (AR's, BLR's, BAR's) Frankford Arsenal Platinum Hand Priming Tool can be adjusted to 0.015 below flush..

First I can understand why there was a lot of questions how to assemble and use this tool. The instructions that came with the primer were as bad as this video. For all the confusion it would have been better to pay the people who packaged the rod assembly parts to just put them together so it would have been pre-assembled. No questions then needed. I agree that putting a case holder and an actual case with primers and showing how it actually works would have been very desirable. This video could have been much better. Sadly lacking.

I purchased one of these last year; it worked for a while, about 200 cases primed, but then it started to have the primers falling out of the tool randomly, I have contacted rcbs twice by email, but no response. Total Junk

Do an actual unboxing of the tool, show all of the parts in the kit and HOW to identify the small primer tube and parts vs. the large primer tube and parts. Then begin the assembly. You could make the video a minute longer and (1) slow down your motions and speech, (2) zoom in and identify/narrate what parts you are working with. Also, you did not show the full action or motion of the tool with a shellholder installed and the case actually being fed a primer. Poor video.
