Stay Aware of Your Surroundings:

Always be mindful of your environment. Awareness is your first line of defense, allowing you to spot potential threats and plan your actions accordingly.
Trust Your Intuition:

If a situation feels uneasy or if someone's behavior raises suspicions, trust your instincts. Your gut feeling can be a powerful tool in avoiding potential dangers.
Maintain a Confident Posture:

Project confidence in your body language. Stand tall, make eye contact, and walk with purpose. A confident demeanor can deter potential attackers.
Learn Basic Self-Defense Moves:

Enroll in a self-defense class to acquire fundamental techniques. Focus on strikes to vulnerable areas (eyes, nose, throat) and practice simple escapes from common holds.
Utilize Everyday Objects:

Be resourceful with everyday objects. Items like keys, pens, or even a flashlight can be used for self-defense if needed.
Have a Personal Safety Plan:

Develop a personal safety plan for different scenarios. Consider potential escape routes, safe locations, and emergency contacts.
Be Vocal and Assertive:

In a threatening situation, use a loud, assertive voice. Shout commands, yell for help, or draw attention to yourself to discourage an attacker.
Avoid Isolation:

Stay in well-lit and populated areas, especially at night. Avoid isolated shortcuts and be cautious in unfamiliar surroundings.
Use Technology for Safety:

Always share your location with someone you trust.

Impressed with how gentle they are with the volunteers. The guys who can legit end you tend to be gentle in their demos, while the "grab my arm here" guys who would get destroyed in a real fight tend to be unnecessarily rough, and often noticeably hurt their volunteers. Just my observation.

rear naked saved me and a buddy during two vs 6 fight in Ukraine... I sat a 6'9" dude down over my knee and started putting him to sleep... his boys stopped fighting long enough to realized all we had was a misunderstanding... finished the night with vodka and absinth to set peace... got my ass out of there as fast as I could once the drinks were down. sidewalk swirled on the walk back to the hotel and I still didn't trust those giants...
