I'm not much of a gamer, but I love Animal Crossing. I have been playing since gamecube too haha Other games I like to play are Mario or the Yoshi ones, and I enjoyed DK Tropical Freeze. But anyway, I am loving your ACNH videos with all the humor and reactions to match haha And the content is helpful as well.

I wish I could spend unlimited guilt-free hours on my island. I’m glad ACNH is designed to be a marathon not a sprint. I just paid thousands of bells just to get me and my residents moved to the same side of the island. I want to move the museum too. I had no idea when I first started out that it’s all about location location location. I’m slowly getting there. My island is at a 4 rating and I think I’ll be there for a while. I want my residents to have a neighbor garage sale. I have so much useless crap in my storage that I said Yard Sale!

Time travelling redd pro tip: Buy skip to next day, load in and save. Skip back to redd's day and he will have new inventory... Unlike the nooklings shop

I completely agree with you! Don't beat yourself up over how your island looks after x amount of hours. Go at your own pace and just have fun. I just recently started terraforming and to start did the only thing right for ME: completely bulldoze the whole island to have a blank slate to work with. I still have areas I'm not happy with, but all this takes time and things will fall into place eventually.
