I was a housewife for a couples years after I got laid off after covid. At first I was stressed because I was used to working. Then I enjoyed it. Even got up early to make my husband's breakfast and pack his lunch befire he went to work, cooked dinner, baked and cleaned. Now I'm back working to help with bills.

My wife is a housewife, bless her. But with two kids, activities, cleaning, cooking (though i also do that). She works a lot. Honestly, i'm glad i can just work a regular job. It's a lot less stressful.

A lot of people are saying here that being a housewife is a lot of work but fail to realise that these "housewife" duties still have to be met regardless if they are working a 9-5 or not. If I could reasonably choose to be stay at home as a guy its definitely the easier and more enjoyable choice. If you keep a reasonably tidy home from the get go stay at home is a few hours a day part time job where you can be lazy for the next 20 hours without worry or stress, whereas you work a full time job to come home and have to do all that crap anyway and dont even have time for hobbies because if you arent at work or sleeping you are tidying or cooking.

I really appreciate this guy told us being a housewife is a job. Although it doesn't pay you, being a good housewife and taking care of your children by making sure they have good mental and manner capability is a noble job and will absolutely decrease the delulu people we found in this generation.

Not for her message, but for warning potential employers and partners alike that she's not into doing her fair share and will whine about this on the internet. That way potential employers and partners know not to invest in her, because they will not get a good return on investment.

I cook and clean and chauffeur a senior and two teenagers all over God‘s creation I do laundry I clean toilets. Personally I’d rather work at an office
