The homeless situation in America is so bad, yet we send billion$ to a foreign non NATO country to fight a war that they will lose. Where are the priorities?

They are full of crap when they say “ they can’t get to them”. If a homeowner or even a random taxpayer were to park 10 minutes past a limit on a parking meter, there would be a ticket on that car. The problem is money. The city officials see these people as “empty bags”( as Adam Carolla would say). They so t have money so the city looks the other way. The homeowner however has money and equity in their house so good luck parking for more than 3 days in front of your house, there would be a ticket right away. Want to build something, good luck, it’s going to cost you both time and money. Want that solar? Jump through the hoops and they might get you a permit in two to five years, of course, it will cost you. They want your money. The homeless don’t have any for the city. Drugs and alcohol? Yes, but not for the city. See the trash all over? They don’t care if their city looks like a dump. But hey, at least there are homeless “ advocates” who are so focused on the homeless getting their rights that they let at least three homeless people die per day on the streets instead of actually getting them the help they need. Much like “climate change”, the homeless have just become another industry in which people who are supposed to be helping solve the problem, are just making money off of it while the problem gets worse. California spends at least $6, 000, 000, 000. a year ( YES $6 BILLION!) WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO???!!!! That is just the state and not local governments. The people advocating and the politicians, including the judges protecting homeless, should be ashamed. They are enabling sick people to continue to do drugs, overdose, and die.

I remember how residents in a brand new Dallas subdivision closed down a trailer park because the sight offended them. The park residents had lived there for decades and could not afford alternate housing
They lost their COMMUNITY

People still pay taxes even if they live in a rv the street is public just because you live in a nice area don't make you different

For some ppl, that's an affordable, yet mobile, home. RV Parks in CA are ridiculously expensive. Monthly, it's what we pay in rent in SWMO.
Stop being real estate snobs & realize that 42% of the country's ppl are struggling.
Make affordable RV parks.

The streets do not belong to the home owners

The stupidity of this news reporter and the residents that live in those houses! What kind of question was that, "do you think it's ok to live across the street from someone"? Those people in those house need to stop feeling entitled! They are not homeless those RVs are about the same size as a studio, a studio in LA cost almost $2000 a month that's ridiculous!

Well, they're not technically "homeless".

This isn't just a Los Angeles issue.. I see it happening in Anchorage, Alaska as well. Homelessness is an INCREASING problem happening across the United States. Rent is increasing along with everything else & it's getting harder and harder for people to get out a financial slump once you get in it. I've thankfully never been homeless but I'm for helping these people instead of kicking them out wherever they go.. give them a place to park, we all have to survive for the love of God!

It’s funny how, there’s people that lost their homes, and now live in RV’s, now where are they suppose to live? Now the nasty RV’ers that chose to dump their holding tanks, and leave trash everywhere, I understand, but the decent ones need somewhere to sleep… there will be RV wrecks on all roads, if these people don’t get any sleep.

Welp, when an apt (in a decent area) goes for $2k a month, this is what you get.

bringing down the property value, noise, shaddy transient crowd, total disregard for the residents who have to pay property tax by the city. its really inexcusable.
