The heavy metal aesthetic actually comes from ancient Christian art and aesthetics. Even the whole wearing black thing is Christian. They even use Christian symbols, but invert them….Inner “dorkness“ is correct

Na you dont go to church becuase of inner demons, most go to try and be decent people. I can sing about demons all day long and whatever but that's boring....there's nothing wrong with going to church or even writing about what compels you. Honestly writing about what weighs you down makes for the best music. I hate that the catholic church forcing religion on people created such a negative (and honestly distorted view) on what it teaches. It says to plant the seed ie tell others, not force it someone to convert or die. Its a big mess, but i play scary soundimg stuff becuase it's what reflects my struggles. Cant write about suicide and death or whatever and it be all happy sounding. Hell even Nergal says the Bible is full of great stories and hinestly iys full pf the most metal shit yoill ever read 😅
