Uhh guys make sure to tune ur strings in the CGCFAD order before playing this or else it will not work .

BONUS : if you don't wanna tune ur strings like this then just play,

1st finger : 6th string,
7th fret

2nd finger : 5th string,
7th fret
Strumming pattern: D - D - D - U

After following this strumming pattern once, go to the 3rd fret with the same chords and tadadadda
You played the intro to something in the way 😊

The guitar is tuned to drop C!
A popular metal tuning.

It makes it easier to play power chords and has a fatter sound due to the lower tuning.

The standard tuning EADGHE is tuned one tone lower, to DGCFAD. The low E string ( the thickest string at the top) is additionally be tuned down by one more tone (i.e. two tones to C in total).

If you cannot afford or do not want to retrofit self-tuning mechanics, can use an electronic tuner with which you can quickly switch between certain tunings.

Because unless they are learning books on the subject of metal and the like, the tasks in these books are designed for the standard tuning.

But that shouldn't stop you from rocking out!

You can get a tuner like this for as little as €15 and it usually can do much more than just tuning.
The goal should be to be able to tune by ear, but hearing deteriorates at some point. So there is certainly no shame in resorting to such aids.
