Curious how this presentation does not mention that the increase in trade surplus is about as much as the tariffs. Meaning, China is selling more products to cover the increased expense load, and therefore they don't have the excess cash to buy American products, because they are spending it all on taxes. This represents a direct drag on their economy, as they don't have enough trade demand to sell their products elsewhere, meaning we get more of their products and they get less profit for them.
