You absolutely can NOT get into Disneyland by dressing up. In fact, if your costume is too close to the actual character costume (and you're over 14) you will be denied entry.

Disney has a rule that adults can’t dress up as the characters cause they are afraid that kids will mistake you as the real actor and go and hug you and takes pictures with you and more.

I like how she decided to start off with the most blatant lie imaginable.
Sure, go in a costume from Party City and Disney won't charge you for the $150 ticket!

You actually get “dress coded” if you dress as a Disney character because they don’t want kids confusing you as a park character

Fun Fact: The story about the Pirates attraction using real bones used to be true. When the ride originally opened Disney had sourced actual skeletons, finding them cheaper, from a medical college. After the ride opened, over the years Disney has replaced the actual skeletons with fake (yet realistic looking) prop skeletons. The only real one left, unless they’ve replaced it recently, is the skull and crossbones on the bed headboard.

P.S.: After a real skeleton was replaced, Disney gave them a proper burial.

Adults aren’t allowed to dress up as characters at Disney due to the fact that small children might not be able to tell the difference and the person might say something out of character or kidnap the child.

All the bones used to be real in the Pirates of the Caribbean, but due to the smell, they had to remove them. People were complaining, but there still one real one, and it’s the skull above the head of the bed.

They used to use real bones for the pirates of the Caribbean ride, but they have since been removed. They used real bones because they wanted the ride to look as authentic and as real as possible for a more life like experience. Disney also had an issue with people dumping their deceased loved ones' ashes in the ride.

at disneyland they have a rule where if you are above the age of 14 you can not dress up as a disney character, they do this because kids might think you are the real character and would want to take photos with you.

As a hardcore Disneyland fan, I will tell you the truth of these “myths”
#1: if you dress as any character, you will get in trouble and maybe even kicked out. This does not apply to kids or anyone during the Halloween celebration, Oogie boogie bash (you have to buy a ticket to the party if you wanna dress up)
#2 This one is actually 100% true!
#3 this one is partly true. Though they used to be real bones, they are to white to be real now. However, if you look up on the bed above the skeleton in the captain’s quarter, you will see a much dirtier skull. This is a real skull.
#4 This one I highly doubt. Especially since that is one of the cheaper lightsabers from Tomorrowland rather than the expensive ones actually from galaxy’s edge.
#5 there is not a hidden room in the castle, or at least not in Anaheim’s castle. At Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida there is a suite in the castle. The truth is there is a walk through attraction in sleeping beauty’s castle in Anaheim that can be accessed on your left side when you walk into fantasyland through the castle.
Your welcome for exposing this girl who’s lying for views and subs :D

Next myth: If You Bring A Baby When You Go. Ask The Line Employees About Baby Swap. So When You Get On The Slow Line And Then Get Off The Ride, Then You Will Switch Turns With Whoever Was Watching The Baby And Only One Other Person Can Go. Then They Will Give You A Lightning Lane Ticket And Get On The Ride. You Can Do This With Most Rides At Disneyland

If anyone is wondering yes there is a “hidden” room in the castle. Only a few people get to go, because you need to be invited you can’t just go

My family has worked there since it opened. Let me give you the REAL myth buster.

-1. No, you cannot get in for free unless you have a cast member from your family in the park (you need their badge)

2- yes, they do have pumps that pump certain smells into the park.

3- they used to use real bones. They don’t anymore.

4-No, they won’t let you cut in line for a dumb reason like that lol.

5- yes, there is a hidden room in the castle. You’re not allowed in though.

Hope this helped <3
