There is a new language learning hack that is becoming popular in the language learning community. The idea is to learn 625 words in your target language. Each set of words is broken up into categories that are supposed to be particularly useful for language learners. So in todays video we are going to learn more about this language hack and I’m going to teach you the Welsh versions of each word in the first section, which is all about animals.

It’s true what you say Jason. When I listen to Radio Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and hear a new Welsh word I understand I get really excited. Very enjoyable and inspirational. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for your tips. You present in a really easy to learn style. I have welsh roots and 4I want to try and learn the national anthem. But by looking at your channel I've learned a bunch of other words and about pronunciation. I'm now very keen to learn some more.

Sutmae Jason from Melbourne!
After many years attempting to learn the language of my ancestors I’m finally making progress with your enjoyable podcasts.I come of a Welsh family and my Dad was Welsh but I was born over the border in Cheshire ! My Grandad was a founder of the Transport and General Workers Union in North East Wales and served as a Labour Councillor for many years for Pen y Ffordd in Flintshire. He was a friend and close colleague of Huw T Edwards who was highly influential in union Labour and Plaid Cymru circles. Huw T was also a Bard of The Goresedd. It’s one of my ambitions to read his autobiography “Tros y Tresi” in its original Welsh!
Best wishes John Ithell

That was a great video!! I knew most of the words, it is the tenses that I really struggle with. I think that I would be able to navigate a menu or a simple tourist brochure, but to speak Welsh would be such a struggle.
