I really like the way this guy looks more than the classics one. I know that the classics one is more accurate to the character, with the door wings and car front chest, but I just really like the way this mold looks as Prowl.

He's a cool looking figure, but yeah, Prowl really does need wings to really look like Prowl.

Combiner wars prowl is a one of my favorite figure that I have and enjoy very much

They have announced that there will be a smokescreen released using this mold. I'm sure they'll do bluestreak as well

I don't think I'll rush out to get any of these guys. I love the wave 1 molds. It is a definite step up from their G1 progenitors, but wave 3 feels like a step down. I hope Hasbro makes with the commercials and jumpstart my interest.

Your thoughts are spot on, Paul. I saw him and Ironhide yesterday evening at Target. I still kind on want him, but I too still have the Classics version.

They are releasing a deluxe class smokescreen with this mold for the sky reign combiner in wave 2 next year

With wave 4, if u do have there universe/classic counterparts, you're better off with those, but if u want them badly then get them. However, if u don't have the universe/classic counterparts, but like the characters, get them.

just had an idea. hey 3rd party guys, do like you did for the generations jazz mold and make a new head and a sticker sheet so we can change this into a new character. my idea, a G1 style Barricade. we need limbs for Galvatronus.

i still love my streak(universe prowl mold) and even got his wings to not popoff when transforming, but sure the cw has a better white than prowl, is not like he is full g1 i mean they DONT combine, so i can actually forgive his lack of wings, but it will never replace the universe mold(as i said i have streak and i hope i can get another version of the mold)

I agree. I don't really like this as Prowl. I absolutely hate all of these repaints! Swindle and Hound look good. Also Mirage is awesome.

They probably won't but I would love if they made Bluestreak and Smokescreen.

well they are making a Smokescreen figure based on the Streetwise/Prowl mold...which is cool for the G1 theme of them using the same mold for Prowl and Smokescreen...but i think they should shave off atleast the light bar section...saw pics and they still have it on the roof of the car which is kindof dumb...lol
