My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

People are saying F You to the car companies for the ridiculous prices over the last few years. Rightfully so.

They need to just make naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engines and never use a cvt transmission again.

I would not pay $50, 000 for a $20, 000 vehicle. No vehicle is worth these prices so a 10% off deal is a spit in the bucket.

Whatever happened to making good, reliable vehicles that were affordable? The entire auto industry needs to reevaluate it's purpose. Thanks for the video!

Hopefully Honda will get rid of Nissan's crappy CVT.

They need to do what Toyota did when they first pushed into the American market... affordable reliable vehicles

I think the first manufacturer that focuses on the affordable market will be the winner in the next few years.

Stay away from those tiny turbo engines trying to move a big SUV, engine strain causes early engine failure. 1.5L on an SUV, no thanks.

At this time I think Mazda is the only car company not trying to screw over the customer.

I had a Nissan Sentra wagon I drove for 20 years until the shock towers rusted through. Drove it to the junk yard! They don't make a car like that anymore. That's why they got into trouble.

I don’t care who merges with who if the vehicle prices don’t drop the only ones who will be driving are the rich because the average person can’t afford them

It seems that Nissan went to Shit with the Renault ownership. Remember Datsun? ... They were Very Good.

If Nissan was simply honest with the general public and stated that for the last 25 years it has been installing low-quality, imploding transmissions, which it is now immediately replacing with top of the line trasmissions with a 200K warranty it would immediately see a spike in sales.

So I've been in manufacturing for over 30 years. I had kanban and 5 S drilled into my head. One of the fundamentals is Standardization!!! Why do you have 8 different motors and transmissions for 8 different models? No ! Back in the "olden days" an alternator would fit 7 different cars and trucks (Chevrolet) Ford parts were interchangeable between 15 different motors. Now days every damn part is specific to each model. Very stupid. And you wonder why there is " supply chain problems" No it's because engineers are stupid. It needs to stop. Walk the Walk or stop with all the 5S BS and canban garbage.

Without Free Money (read low interest rates) the products are unaffordable.

I really don't understand the problems at Nissan. I am now in the 14th year driving my Nissan Altima that I bought brand new and am still driving the car with the ORIGINAL CVT transmission. That transmission has been bulletproof for me. I change the CVT fluid every 25, 000 miles and don't try to drive the vehicle like a race car. I expect to drive this car for a lot more years with this transmission.

Visited four dealerships today. Same old. The thieves haven't figured out the party is over. Lots of shoppers, not sure any buyers. $41k for a Hyundai Tucson. Thing should be about $15k. I can't wait to read that a dealership is bankrupt. It is coming for sure.

Less choices means less competition which means higher prices and less quality. Can the bar go any lower?
