I absolutely love your videos but as an electrical engineer I have to correct you, all this thing does is measure the voltages and if they are in spec it tests ok but doesn't actually put any load on the power supply, it isn't a dummy load or anything it's basically a multimeter. The thing that damages computers most is ripple and it has to be measured with an oscilloscope, this is pretty much useless because some PSUs that are about to break have no problem until you actually start putting in some load and will damage your system. On my reply is how I test PSUs

Much better if you get the digital one where you can see individual voltages to easily identify good and bad psu. Some bad psu will turn on and even pass with that tester without knowing their current voltages like if they are unstable or low voltage. It will cause sudden system crash especially with those power hungry components.

You will need to find something to check for ripple under load. If too much AC is leaking over to the DC side it will dissipate into the components and silently take one of them out. If a component randomly dies in a PC a ripple check is recommended

I've always used them. When I found out "under voltage/wattage" can be just as bad as too much voltage - a Volt/ohm meter is best for testing the actual voltage. A simple ps tester is just another piece of useful equipment.
