2 years ago i saw one of your videos where you said your goal was to pay off your house by 2024. I said wow, i wish i could do that too but i was at least 5 years away from payoff. Well, because of that 1 video, i said if this lady can do it, i will try my best. I am happy to report, 2 weeks ago i paid off my mortgage 3 years ahead of schedule. Thank you so much for the motivation and strength i got from your video❤

I rarely go out to eat. The quality of food is low & the price astronomical. I learned to make my favorite foods at home. ❤

I started intermittent fasting, slowly working up to one meal per day, only drinking green tea, electrolytes, and water, no snacks between meals. I have reached the “one meal a day” goal, and have slowly lost 30 pounds!! Some of the “diet” is based on the Keto diet plan, but I don’t necessarily follow it. My goal is to eat what keeps my liver healthy. This is one “sure-fire” way to reduce the cost of groceries these days!!! Plus, I feel SO much better and healthier.

Life has changed so much. I never shop in stores except for groceries. I shop every two weeks or so. We replenish bread or dairy if needed. I do shopping for gifts online. The older we get the less we need. Now that we have a good stock of freezer and pantry it is easier to just supplement when you rotate your preps. I love YouTube because I choose the content I enjoy. I just cancelled one streaming service and switched to a new one. Love that tip!❤️

I went to a book club at someone's house, and everyone brought food. We all had a great time!

Popcorn made at home is a very inexpensive treat compared to chips etc. Junk food is very pricey.

When I was a working full time mom of 3, I used to do Marathon cooking on Saturday mornings-I’d make a pasta dish, a casserole, and one other meal- each planned for leftovers. We ate well throughout the week without having to cook after work when I was tired or we had to get to ball practice.

I’m so happy you mentioned the having snacks in the car when you’re only out doing errands I keep an ice chest in my car with cold drinks and snacks and I don’t have small children but it helps from buying out if i get hungry or thirsty

We are retired and make it a personal challenge to always split a meal when we go out to eat, and keep our total under $25 including a generous tip - it's so fun to do this!! Our favorite place to do this is Texas Road House!

One tip is to go out for lunch rather than dinner - if you can ! It saves so much money and you get to enjoy dining out. Also most people don’t order appetizers at lunch so already you are spending less!!!

I have a cooking tip. Buy a bag of cheap egg noodles. Anytime you cook using something like Hamburger Helper, add vegetables to it and a big handful of those noodles. It expands how many meals you can get out of it. Just watch as it cooks as sometimes you need to add another quarter cup of water. I also add garlic and onion to improve the taste.

Preach girl about social media! For me, it's a net negative for my life. The people I want to keep up with, I intentionally keep up with them

About 2 years ago, I changed my phone data plan from an unlimited plan to a limited data plan. And I realized that I never reached my data limit. Saved me $20 a month.

Never joined any social media, gossip sessions and never will. So no need to take a break.

The gift thing I do too. I usually buy gifts in advance, especially for Christmas, because I can look out for good deals, am in no rush and spend a little here and there instead of going into debt in December
