I made this recipe as written and my mother-in-law (who is 82) said this is the best jam she's ever had. It's a keeper.

I’ve made this version and their strawberry basil version as well. Using local Amish market’s strawberries in 2017 and it is the best jam ever. Tastes like the perfect strawberry flavor one can imagine. ATK’s my reliable source for all of my cooking.

Back in the 1950s and '60s my mom used to make homemade jam from the blackberries we grew in our yard and from strawberries we picked at local farms. I never got into doing it, but after watching this video I'm inspired to give it a try. The town of Marysville, Washington, will be having their annual strawberry festival not too long from now, and that will be the perfect opportunity.

This is my third year using this video and making this jam. The recipe and the video is a family favorite! The interplay between these two presenter-chefs is SO PROFESSIONAL and DELIGHTFUL. They make the video as awesome as it is. Thank you both!

This is my third year of making this jam. Each year I’ve had to increase the amount because my family eats it so quickly. Best strawberry jam we’ve ever had. Plus so easy to do.

Thank you very much. I've been watching and learning a lot from this channel. I live in Taiwan and I REALLY miss so many simple things from back home in Canada. Ever since coming across your channel, I have learned to make many of my favorite foods that I grew up with. And all of the people on this channel make it VERY easy to follow the instructions. I especially like the way Julia (I hope I have her name right) explains why you do things. Using lemon juice instead of real lemons is a perfect example. Fresh lemons are everywhere here in Taiwan so I would've used them.
Thank you again. You make this poor humble man seem like I actually know how to do things in a kitchen.

I remember melting wax to cover the jars of jam that my mother and grandmother made.

Love Becky and Erin. We need to see them more often on ATK. They need a separate program on PBS themselves or together.

This jam is delicious. I've made it twice and both times I just let it cool a bit then put a white plastic ball jar lid on it and refrigerated it. It makes four 8 ounce jars. I give 2 away and keep 2. It stays fresh for 8-10 weeks in the fridge.
