‘Absolutely brilliant’: Pager attack on Hezbollah was ‘very targeted’

Former foreign minister Alexander Downer says the pager explosion attack on Hezbollah was “absolutely brilliant”.

Hundreds of handheld Hezbollah pagers simultaneously exploded in Lebanon, killing several people and injuring about 4,000 people.

Mr Downer told Sky News host Caleb Bond that the attack was “very targeted”.

He is an embarassment of an ex minister. He should be very concerned that these devices may end up in Australia and blow up kids here. He should also be concerned majority of people who were injured of killed were not terrorists. He should be EVEN MORE concerned that Israel conducted this acts of terror in foreign soil. This opens up a can of works that would allow other countries peform "counter-terrorism" activities in Australian soil against Australians. There are a lot of Australian citizens of Middle Eastern descent. Israel has just put all of them at risk. The good news is that their tech industry is now screwed...
