To explain the “No, she has a cousin” thing. This is from the 3rd season of Sailor Moon, Haruka’s superhero identity is Sailor Uranus and in the original Japanese dub she’s in a lesbian relationship with her partner Michiru aka Sailor Neptune. When Dic dubbed the season into English they changed their relationship to them being cousins. Because, apparently incest is ok being gay is not.

"Actually she has a cousin" is likely a joke about how the gay stuff in Sailor Moon was censored by having the girls use the word "cousin" in the English dub.
Note: I haven't watched Sailor Moon, this is just my best guess based on my prior knowledge of it.

Concerning the 'ms vs mrs' post... I don't care if your spouse is a man, it's fucked up to 1)assume he feels possessive enough to want to control how you identify yourself and 2)decide the assumed preference of the husband is more important than the preference of the person you are dealing with.
My husband really doesn't like mrs because it does have an implied possessive element (Mr's).

Not sure if anyone else has explained this, but in the anime pic with the "actually she has a cousin" comment, IIRC that is from Sailor Moon. In the original, that character and another of the sailor scouts were lesbians, but in the American localization, they changed it so they were cousins. Useless anime knowledge from the internet coming in useful

Sailor moon was one of the first animes with a lesbian couple. The English version censored it by making them "cousins". It was very uncomfortable
