Performance RT only affects sun cast shadows over medium to short distances. It has no benefit at night or in building interiors. It also stops rendering shadows after certain distances, and reduced the quality of reflections. Plus it has less stable framerate.

Performance mode actually has equal or superior visuals in many situations while rendering at the same resolution and a more stable framerate. This particular video didn't even show the one feature that's available in performance RT mode, because it's only active during the day and when the sun is out. Performance mode instead would have shown the higher quality reflections.

Your video would have looked better in performance mode. People keep thinking performance RT is the "best visual and performance combo" when it's only better than performance in ONE specific area, and only at a limited range. While long range shadows and reflection quality is better in performance. Plus people keep thinking the game has actually "ray tracing" and it will make lights and reflections better. It's not that at all. They did the bare minimum possibly to be able to legally advertise ray tracing being included. The difference is hard to notice, and essentially it just looks like shadow quality was bumped up one notch out maybe 250-300 meters, and further than that and it can actually be worse quality shadows than performance mode, or flat out just not render the shadows.
