Truth is, the younger generation is ALWAYS gonna trash talk the older generations as well as gatekeep things bc everyone else is "too old" so they call older people cringe to feel more secure in themselves. And the older generation is always gonna feel a type of way over that and alot of times "look down" on the younger generation in some ways. (Obviously not everyone, just in general.) When Millennials were younger they did the same thing although Gen Z is definitely more dramatic when it comes to "old people, " but best believe Gen Z gonna be real disappointed in a short 10 years when all of a sudden they getting clowned by the younger generation that takes their place. As a "Zillenial" (the generational cusp between Gen Z and Gen Y), I noticed Gen Z easily makes fun of people for superficial reasons, while also presenting themselves as more tolerant, loving, etc. They're very mean for no reason, while back in my day that was considered asshole behavior.
