What about dogs? I wonder dogs have benefits to would imagine because I’ve had dogs my entire life. I love them so much. In my home and family we got 2 cats 5 dogs and birds

I did a paper for college on one of those prisons and the programs involved. A few things that showed in results:

1. In the prisons where the program is implemented, there have been less violence in them
2. There are less turn-out rates (when a prisoner gets out of jail only to be incarcerated again)
3. A lot of the shelter animals end up getting adopted by the inmate who took care of them after they get out of jail
