About this video: If you want to know how to quickly download and install Minecraft mods in 2023, this is the video for you. In this short video, we go over everything you need to know about Minecraft mods in 2023.

First things first, you will need to download and install Forge for Minecraft. The good news is we have a complete guide on getting Forge in the description above.

Once you have Forge, we can move on to downloading Minecraft mods. There are thousands of mods to choose from, and we have a link in the description above to CurseForge where you will find all of the most popular Minecraft mods out there.

When downloading mods, just make sure they are for Forge and for the version of Minecraft you are downloading. For example, Minecraft 1.20.1 mods won’t work in Minecraft 1.20.4. The mods must be for the Minecraft version and Forge version you have installed.

With your mods downloaded, we can install them. Open Minecraft with Forge, click the ‘mods’ button, and click ‘Mods Folder’ in the bottom left.

Now, drag-and-drop the mods you downloaded into the mods folder. It’s that easy to install mods in Minecraft 2023.

In order for your mods to work though, you will need to restart Minecraft making sure that you are playing Minecraft with the Forge installation. Your mods will only work if you play with the Forge installation.

And when Minecraft opens, your mods will be installed. Congrats! You now know how to add mods to Minecraft in 2023.
