Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Cooking up a storm! Are you ready for Thanksgiving?
I’m not! Haha! I’m close, but still so much to do!
Anywho, I wanted to share this NEW Cranberry Sauce Recipe with you! I hope you love it!
This incredible Elderberry Orange Cranberry Sauce is perfect for the holidays! You can add this side dish to chicken, pork, sausage, and of course Turkey! So delicious and perfect for a festive meal.
Tip: If you love cranberries and all the health benefits they offer, load up now because, after the holidays, they are super hard to find, at least in Wisconsin. I definitely am buying my share, not that we didn’t already buy many bags! Haha!
Ingredients
4 Pounds of Cranberries
3/4 Cups of Orange, Pineapple, and Ginger juice (Uncle Matt’s)
3/4 Cups of Elderberry, Zinc, Organic Acerola, and Orange juice (Uncle Matt’s)
3/4 Homemade Elderberry Juice
1 Cup Maple Syrup
1/3 Cup Honey
2-3 T. Orange Peel
Let’s Create!
1. Bring the three Juices, Maple Syrup, and Honey to a simmer in a medium size pot.
2. Add the cranberries and simmer until all the berries have popped. The mixture will thicken. When the cranberries are soft and mashable, you will know the sauce is ready.
3. Scoop sauce into a bowl and serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
4. Add more syrup or Honey if you need more sweetness!
