I experienced a time slip a few years ago. I was about 11 and my mum had just left the house to get some food, so I was home alone. I went downstairs for a brief moment to get some water and when I came back upstairs, I noticed that everything looked a little different. My bedroom door had no stickers on it, and the wallpaper was peeling slightly, which is how it looked around 5 or 6 years prior. I opened by bedroom door and I started to panic a bunch when I saw that it was no longer my room, but now it was a spare storage / guest room, exactly how it was years ago. I dropped on to the floor and started crying and when I looked back up, everything was back to normal. I've never told anyone this, they would just think I was crazy or something. And the fact that I was just 11 when it happened made it even scarier, I was so anxious for days afterwards.

I had a time-slip happen to me when I was in my 40's. I was driving down a road I'd driven on hundreds of times (since i was approx. 17 years old). It was daytime, and i was riding back home. This happened in Costa Mesa, CA. So I'm driving home and all of a sudden all of my surroundings changed. Like the click of a camera lens, it just completey changed. No longer was there residential homes on both sides of me; instead there were barns hundreds of yards apart. The road turned into a dirt road-- all asphalt was gone. It was still daylight though.
I became scared, took y foot off of the gas and kept looking around. I saw one farmer way off in the distance near a barn: he didn't see me. This went on for about 3 minutes, when i started to panic and cry and hyperventilate. I was scared I couldn't return home and didn't know how long i would be stuck in this world. I was crying and driving immensely slow when all of a sudden everything flipped back and i was in my familiar road again. It was absolutely frightening and scared me to my bones, but this is absolutely the truth of what happened to me. I am 63 years old now, and I will NEVER forget it.

That moment you realize there's probably a lot more timeslip stories that will never be known, due to the people involved ending up being trapped in that time period for the rest of their lives.

Back in 1990, while on a trip out West, I apparently took a portion of the trip twice, despite taking it only once. I remembered that part two different ways, and when I got my film back, it shows that section was indeed taken twice. No one has been able to explain it. The difference in my story, is that I got the photographic evidence that no one else seemed to get.

I believe I witnessed someone else having a time slip. It sounds weird I know. It was a knight in armor, inside my house, looked as though he was praying on one knee with a staff in one hand. When he lifted his head and saw me, he quickly stood up and started walking backwards quickly as though I frightened him. Then disappeared. I guess I could have hallucinated it? I wasn’t on any drugs. But how odd if I did hallucinate it that he seemed so scared of me. I’m in no way a very scary looking woman. I was in my early twenties at the time so I was even somewhat young. Anyway he seemed as real as any real thing, until he disappeared. This encounter startled me too, until I realized he was afraid of me, then I was more puzzled. I probably had a look on my face like why are you afraid of me. I looked at a door for my escape and turned back to look at him and he was gone. No escape for him where he was situated in the house. Just vanished. It all happened very very quickly. Like maybe 2 or 3 seconds.

In 1989 I went to Germany Munchen, to visit my friend. After I checked in in one small motel, refreshed myself and had rest for a few hours, I went outside to wait for my friend. I walked slowly along the street, and there was one small café where we meant to meet. I dressed at that time honey color skirt ( I really liked it a lot) and brownish top. It was nice sunny day, and lots of noise from people and cars passing by. Suddenly all this noise stopped, like I become suddenly totally deaf. I watched on the footpath and noticed that it was made from square units instead concrete. And on myself I had soldiers boots, skirt, leather belt. I was distraught and notice a few different building 3 to 4 stores high. I couldn't believe what happened and then I heard my friend's voice calling me. All this lasted maybe 5to 6 seconds, but to me looked much longer.

Time slip stories are interesting. But I kept listening to the end because of your voice, and that unusual accent. Your slow enunciation and cadence, and the soothing sound of your voice has an ASMR quality.

Dunster and Bampton are really gorgeous places. That part of Somerset around Exmoor is so beautiful, with a lot of small really picturesque villages.
I grew up in Somerset, it's a lovely county.

My sister just sent me this video because i’m the younger sister that was in the story at about 20:21! all of that shit was real. Part of her post where it talked about how i was getting freaked out was because i remember seeing wooden-ish mask like faces between the trees, but it absolutely could have been from the trick of the light or stress, but it was really weird- i can still picture it!

In 1986 I worked at an accounting firm. It was a fairly prestigious firm with some high echelon clients. One of the younger accountants walked through my work area one day. I glanced up, expecting him to ask me to retrieve a file or something, but instead he just strode by wearing a doublet and breaches, like something out of the 15th century. My first thought was that Cary was going to act in a play or something, even though the owner of the firm would not have approved. He had the whole outfit, too, including long pointed shoes and jaunty hat. Anyway, Cary disappeared into a storage room for a minute or two, and when he came out he was dressed in a business suit. No costume draped over his arm, just some papers in his hand. ??
