It’s like the gym. Most people hate going in but love when they are on the way out. Same as prospecting.

Thank you for posting this. I think a large majority of us are scared of rejection or sounding unintelligent so it holds us back. Its hard being a new agent and trying not to sound too desperate or salesy because in my mind I'm thinking I'm going to get denied before I even pick up the phone. This puts it into perspective where I shouldn't expect the call to end up with a listing appt, which takes away that fear. I love that! Thank you

This is just the video I needed. Thank you Brandon - Arnold, San Diego Realtor working on building a purely expired business.

Do you recommend diversifying my business to include strictly buyer leads or is 2023 strictly the year for expireds?🎉🎉🎉

So I do a lot of cold calling so there’s not really a fear of calling. But… do you have any advice on how to start cold calling when you you just don’t feel like doing calls or talking on the phone?

To tell you the truth my real issue is that nobody answers their phone, or if they do answer they're not interested, so after about 50 calls deep, It kind of just gets old, And I lose interest because it seems like i'm not getting any traction.

I love this!!! I teach prospecting at my brokerage and I actually use a "gumball theory" to teach consistency and law of average. I apply it to doing the work, using a script, following up, types of lead gen, etc. For example, imagine six gumball machines containing 5 red and 5 blue balls. You have 10 quarters. You put one quarter in the left machine, get a red ball, but you want a blue ball. Where do you put your next quarter? The left, since the odds are now in your favor. Most agents will say, "Well, I got a red ball, time to try social media." Then, they get a red ball, "Time to try YouTube." Red ball. "Time to try door knocking." Eventually, they are out of quarters and never saw a blue ball, or they saw one blue ball, then two reds and moved on to another machine. In reality, they could have had all of the blue balls out of the left machine (10 quarters, 10 balls). This is one of my favorite vides. Shared with my team!
