There is a moment whenever I’m playing this song seems like everything around me is silent just like that

My grandfather was a simple man. He did manual work all his life for the local council. His only fault was that he was a heavy smoker. He once fell asleep with a cigarette in his mouth and burnt his sweater. But this lovely old man had a passion, and his passion was astronomy. I will always remember the large books that he would lay on his table and show me photos of the stars and the galaxy's millions of light years away. Now whenever I listen to this beautiful song I don't mind admitting, even at 74 years of age, it brings tears to my eyes. A fabulous piece of music that takes me back every time I listen to it.

You taught me the courage of stars before you left
How light carries on endlessly, even after death
With shortness of breath
You explained the infinite
And how rare and beautiful it is to even exist
I couldn't help but ask for you to say it all again
I tried to write it down, but I could never find a pen
I'd give anything to hear you say it one more time
That the universe was made just to be seen by my eyes
I couldn't help but ask for you to say it all again
I tried to write it down, but I could never find a pen
I'd give anything to hear you say it one more time
That the universe was made just to be seen by my eyes
With shortness of breath
I'll try to explain the infinite
And how rare and beautiful it is to even exist
With shortness of breath
I'll try to explain the infinite
And how rare and beautiful it truly is that we exist

I love how the audience didn’t clap right away. Silence, absorbing, allowing the music to integrate.

I cannot find words for what this did to me. it is so evocative and speaks beyond what we have capacity to communicate. I’m so grateful for artists that have this capability.

What sort of mind can produce this wonderful haunting piece of music . As someone else said, I envy the people hearing this for the first time. It’s like a club, like we found it, and we all dedicate it to a loved one . My daddy.
