Top cat questions I have heard: “Meow?” “Mrrow?” “Brrrt?” and “Rouwrr?”

I meow back at my cat when she meows at me, and we go back and forth. She probably think there’s something wrong with me.

My cat intently watched the first 5-10 minutes of this video with me. I believe she was fact checking. And as she did not swat my phone over, I believe I can say well done! I greatly enjoyed it as well.

Kneading is also for comfort: during a sudden intense windstorm, my cat jumped into his bed and started kneading like dough was being banned the next day. His eyes were wide with terror while he did this until I calmed him down.

People used to ask me why I had nine cats. I told them it was because I did not allow my wife to have ten. That was not true, because I also did not allow her to have 4, 5, 6 and so on. My wife was a physician and she said the cats were her antidepressants, so she named them Paxil, Effexor, Zoloft, Remeron, and so on, until she ran out of antidepressants she liked. She named the last two Sean Connery and Vin Diesel because she said they were her antidepressants, too. She had a great sense of humor.

When she said "tell your cat's that I love them" I brought mine to the screen said "look she loves you" and gave her lots of pets and snuggles.

I used to have a cat. She hated everyone but me. We never verbally communicated, but after 10 years of being best friends we'd figured out exactly what the other wanted with just body language. I knew when she wanted food, water, attention, outside, to be warmer (she had arthritis) etc. She knew when I was upset, sore, happy, or lonely. She'd come and cuddle up to me when I was upset. She wouldn't even leave me to use the bathroom. She would come in every few minutes to make sure I was okay. Because of my autism, I'm funny about any kind of physical contact, but I never pushed her away. Then when I moved out of home, I left her with my parents. She was getting older, and I didnt want to move her around because I was scared she would die if I did. My parents told me she waited by the door for months, waiting for me to come home. After about 6 months of this, she died. I remember getting a call from my parents telling me she was on her way out. When I got there her organs were already shutting down. I had to bury her on my own. Even two and a half years later I still break down when I think about her. She was closer to me than any person in my life, even my family. I feel like it's my fault she died when she did. Like if I had have stayed there she'd still be around. She was only 10 when she died, and cats live for up to 20 years on I feel so guilty

I know this video is over a year old but hopefully you'll see this. Big cats that roar do have their own type of "purr" that resonates from the same area. they just can't sustain it. It's called "Chuffing".

Plant lady and cat lady here! Just want point out the plant pictured at 25:15 called “silver vine” is actually a Scindapis: also called a Silver satin pothos, a common houseplant that is toxic to cats. So please if you have this plant In your home, and think it’s safe for your cats it is not! 🙂

Why does my cat take up more space than me even though it's my bed? 😭

Our cat, now soon to be a 1 year-old, was never really taught cat. We decided one night that he is:
¼ kitten
¼ puppy
¼ panther
¼ hamster
All of them with severe ADHD.
Turning out to be a Big, Strong Boy, who never wastes time by looking before he leaps.
But definetly a cat, because of:
A. The 20 hours a day purring loudly.
B. We've never ever seen him ashamed of anything. He considers smelly farts as something to be shared, and displayed proudly with love unto all.
He is awesome, and loved beyond comprehension.

My cat was a Siamese, and her eyes glowed red. No lazers, just a super-creepy red glow. I've had cats my whole life, and at age 66, I found out that they can glow red. Weird.

I love people who come up with thoughtful names..."Cameo" is very clever for a cat.
Considering many make short appearances and disappear...I may have to steal it 😏
