Il Makiage Foundation on Over 50 Skin

I get asked about Il Makiage foundation quite a bit. I really like it as a medium coverage foundation. It’s funny because I tried it before 2 years ago and did not like it. I think it is because I did not have a good color match. I took the quiz again this spring and I didn’t think it was going to be the right shade, I thought it would be too light, but it actually looks perfect. It is supposed to be a matte finish, I think of it as more natural it doesn’t look drying on my skin. My makeup looked just as good at the end of the night without setting spray! #notsponsored

Please tell me if you thought it very dry in your skin. I have normal skin with pigmentations . I’m 59 with a slightly lighter complexion but darken in summer even with sun protection and self tanner
Do you think with a moisturizer and very hydrating primer this would work

I love this foundation and color; however it doesn't last past 4 hours and it requires massive touch ups during day. So I'll pass on this

You know, I’ve seen so many reviews on so many different women. (I refuse to watch a man apply makeup to himself.😝) It looks very good on you. Of course it helps to be gorgeous too. I just can’t bite the bullet on a purchase!

Well, I got mine and I do not like it. It's very thick and messy. The coverage is not subtle and just way to heavy for me, like putting spackling on a wall to cover up a hole. Nope, never again.

So crazy that I think my face is darker than yours and I also got 105 but in certain light, the shade looks too dark compared to my neck.

I’m going to try to blend some of the foundation to help even if out. I really like the texture of the IL Makiage foundation.
