How to randomly pick a Facebook comment as a competition winner

Here's just one way you can 'randomly' and fairly select a comment as a winner.

Copy and paste the comments from the Facebook Page Post, one entry per line, in the top box;
Click "Clear Current Picks" and then "Shuffle Input" just to make things fair;
Then click "Pick Random Line" to select the winner.

As a record, and proof, you could screen-record the 'random' draw with a program like JING and then post that to Facebook. Or you could even have a Google Hangout on Air to stream the drawing of your competition.

I love the idea of being able to run sweepstakes directly on a Facebook Page's timeline, however, I can there is a lot of room for misconception and deceit. I'd love to hear your views on the subject of Facebook Page timeline competitions and sweepstakes.
