With anything in life, if someone makes something look effortless, then that's a sign of mastery. Your raw run video looked effortless!

Malcolm is so good at explaining things to its fundamentals. I do think a physics Nobel prize should be your next goal after snowboarding 🤙

I've learned snowboarding on my own, by instinct, and I've learned a lot of bad things this way. At some point I was struggling to get better. Your videos help me a lot to correct myself and have some pleasure on my board in a way I didn't expect. Thank you Malcolm 🙏

Love your videos! They really help me remember what I'm supposed to be doing. I've been riding over 25 yrs and I'll be 70 this winter and plan on riding on my birthday. One move that helped me (and everyone I've shown it to) is to think of slightly sitting on a heel edge turn and slightly kneeling on a toe edge turn. Cheers!

The understanding of gravity is such a good explanation here. For me, this is what makes snowboarding almost a spiritual experience.

Wow. I hope I will someday start with snowboarding. I am 38, never been on the ski resorts for skiing/snowboarding (only for sledding), but it is my big wish to get this done one day, before I am gone... You make it so easy. Not interested in tricks, just to ride down the hill, effortlessly and easy.

This YouTube instructor is hands down the best for snowboarding. When I discovered his channel, I was an intermediate snowboarder struggling with my technique and occasional counter-rotation. Now, thanks to his guidance, I've progressed to an intermediate-advanced level. Even though I live in Switzerland, I would love to have a few personal lessons with him because he truly knows his stuff! Would love to learn switch riding

Malcom always hits the key points other youtube instructors miss. Love the physics lesson and theory behaind why we need to do something.

As someone who's been riding for 20 years and almost exclusively rides black diamonds and up, i dont really need to watch these videos but all your explanations and demonstrations are spot on. If someone had asked me to teach them how to snowboard, Id have had no idea beyond "just do it" but now i can actually break it down for them.

I’ve been snowboarding for decades. I do fine, mostly self taught. I watched this and so many things clicked into place and with this simple awareness/change, my technique improved so much and I work so much less.

Great video, I've been riding 15 years but I still like to go back to basics every now and then to try and sort any bad habits I may have gotten into. Cheers.

im a decent boarder but not good enough, i am a decent rider but not good enough. I love the similarities and philosophies you put in riding a motorcycle and boarding!!

this is the first season im riding my own board and almost a year in owning my very own dirt bike!
I can not live without both, thank you Malcolm.

This video just made the missing link I had in my snowboarding snap into place. I will forever remember this. Thank you for this video! Helped me so much forever 🙏

I’ve been riding for a few years, took one lesson on my very first day and learned the rest on my own. Turns out I’ve picked up some bad habits and I’m learning the proper techniques now. Your idea of center of gravity and torsional twist really helped me! I tried that yesterday and I feel so much more stable on my board. Your explanations are like no one else’s. Thank you for making these amazing videos!

Malcolm, great information as always. id like to thank you for the time and work you put into your videos! you brought me from never using a board to being confident on the slopes and actively learning and focusing on technique while going down the slopes, this will be my 3rd Canadian season. once again THANK YOU !

Dude, this video was a game changer for me. I was struggling to do the S turns because I was using just my heels/toes technique with a lil bit of shoulders. But I woke up this morning, saw your video and hit the slopes and I was doing the S so smoothly. Thank you very much
