Ok so Cobra Kai Season 4 is filled with a tonne of easter eggs, hidden details and references to the Karate Kid Movies. Much like season 3, the show is packed with callbacks and in this video we're gonna be breaking em all down.

Now the series culminates with Daniel and Chozen making an alliance at Mr. Miyagi's grave.

Chozen was the villain in Karate Kid 2 and you might remember that Daniel ended up running into him during the mid point of Season 3. He gave him a secret scroll from Mr. Miyagi's collection and Anthony could actually be seen looking over this in Episode 7. It detailed a special pressure point punch technique that Daniel somewhat used against Johnny to paralyse his arm much in the same way he was.

He used it to Honk on Daniels nose which was actually a callback to Karate Kid 2 when Daniel did the same thing after beating him.

Mr. Miyagi's gravestone has popped up throughout the seasons and much like we already saw it details how he was a war hero that received the medal of honor.

Throughout the season Daniel very much adopted a defence only mentality which somewhat led to him and Johnny parting ways. However this likely shows that he's now fully gonna embrace all that to make a more balanced combat style. Chozen actually beat Daniel in Season 3 and therefore he's probably the best person that he could've teamed up with.

Interestingly the season ends with Silver announcing that he's opening several Cobra Kai's throughout the valley and this was actually his original plan in Karate Kid 3 but he was stopped by Daniel.

Now we start off the season immediately after the events of Season 3 with the new dojo being formed. In the background we can also catch Mr. Miyagi's car which was something that was a big part of the original movies. It also showed up at the beginning of Season 3 which is where we met a young John Kreese. In Season 3 there was a bully that was played by Martin Kove's son Jesse but the big twist came where we saw that young John was actually a victim.

I feel like I could do Karate after watching Cobra Kai, but realistically I’m lucky to get up off the couch.

This season flew so fast... wish it had more episodes, it was really fun to watch. The kids work so good together. Hawk story arc's was a high point.

You missed in episode 6 where Hawk finds out Moon broke up with Piper and asks Demetri how long ago? Demetri says weeks and Hawk says weeks? 1 week 5 weeks, what's weeks? Daniel said this same thing in Karate Kid 1 when he found out that Ali broke up with Johnny.

I think the writing has improved significantly over the series, and has not devolved into just fan service. Pretty well done! Thanks for the easter egg videos!

After Tory cracks Sam in the eye, Silver says "can't fight if you can't see" he says this to Daniel in KK3 which leads him to breaking that kids nose which he describes to Robbie in the shop.

missed a MAJOR one! When Miguel was walking drunk Johnny to his room... this was a call back to Daniel walking drunk Mr. Miyagi to his room. Both drunk men were singing songs from their youth and mumbling past regrets (Mr. Miyagi learning about his wife and child's death and Johnny regretting not being there for his son robby)

Terry Silver used the surprise kick to the face of Johnny to blindside him as a demonstration of "if a man can't see, he can't fight" part of the QuickSilver technique. As well as the kick he delivered at the end of the fight that left Johnny laid out, that demonstrated "if a man can't stand, he can't fight". He used all three parts of the Quicksilver technique...

When Miguel falls trying to catch a fish bare handed, Daniel says looks like you are a little wet behind the ears referencing when Miyagi said the same thing to him after making him fall of the boat in the original film. I think that was the only one you missed from as far as I could tell, awesome video man, keep em coming.

At the end, the chuck away line from silver "I'm sure I can find a couple guys to help" has to mean him bringing back john barnes and snake for the next season!

This isn’t Kung Fu this is Karate.

There was a reference to The Outsiders which Ralph Macchio was in. When arguing over the drive in fight, he says something along the lines of getting into switchblade fight at the drive in. This is what his character, Johnny Cade, does in that book/movie

One more reference to Rocky that I noticed is when Daniel says to Johnny that he might get sued and he says "Sue me for what", that is a line from Rocky 5 at the end of the movie.

Yes...finished watching this season. THIS is how you properly bring back an iconic nostalgic franchise. I cannot wait for season 5!
Side note: Anyone know when they (Champion) will release that sweet Cobra Kai Workout gear?🤔 I could use one of those tops for my gym sessions..🐍

Silver's ending to this seasons is unbelieveable. I thought for a minute they were just going to write him off and Kreese was going to soften up a bit. And then boom. Holy. Shit.

The name of episode 8 is Party Time. A reference to KK3 when Krease and Silver bow to each other and say that right before they fight Miyagi.

You know season 5 could have very interesting plot points for the future, with Kenny embracing no mercy and Robby feeling regret over it, it could lead to either Shawn, Aisha, eli, Dimitri, or some type of combination with those characters having to stop Kenny from going down a destructive path. With Robby gone with Johnny, it could mean that kyler will play a major role in influencing Kenny's path and thus we could see Dimitri having to fight kyler and we could see hawk gain more character development as he tries to stop Kenny from going down the same path he once did. While Aisha could be a positive mentor to Kenny and Shawn as his anchor for reality.
With sam having a personal crisis, it could also lead to a bigger role for moon and yasmine as well.
