Ok so Minnal Murali is now out worldwide on Netflix and the Indian Superhero story has a lot to unpack from it.

Throughout this video we're gonna be going through the plot, ending and also giving our thoughts on it. Now after Mars, Saturn and Jupiter end up being brought into an event known as the triangular planetary alignment we watch as strange magnetic storms hit the earth. During one of these a tailor called Jaison is struck by lightning and he's blessed with incredible abilities. These include super strength, increased reflexes, speed and though he can't fly the guy can do a lot.

At the start of the movie Jaison wants nothing more than to move to America with his love Bincy who just so happens to be the daughter of the superintendant of the village. Jaison's heart just isn't in the village and he feels like he desereves a beter life in America. However, come the end of the movie after vanquishing evil he decides to remain at the village and become it's loyal protector.

This is very much the story about finding purpose and Tovino Thomas does an incredible job of enthusing the hero with a charisma that's difficult not to like.

Throughout the film we watch as he comes to grips with his new gifts whilst also dealing with the face that Bincy is now engaged to someone else. Ya boy Aneesh. Coolest guy in the village that wears sunglasses at night and is basically the Indian Inrique Englasias. Indrique Inglasias.

Silver is a fantastic villain, I’m really glad he’s back. He’s more dangerous than Kreese because he’s rich, he’s devious, and unlike his “captain” he’s completely obsessed with breaking people. Love it.

Shows how you can continue a franchise, introduce new characters and move the story forward without shitting on the original characters, staying honest and respectful to the originals, and not making Luke a depressed hermit.

And Miguel tells him he loves him...

The Eli vs Robby fight was insane. I just love how they did block after block. Shows how both are really well in offense AND defense

Just a correction, Miguel will actually still remain a strong character in season 5, because season 5 actually just finished filming about 3-4weeks ago. So there won't be any scheduling conflicts

Eli has got to have had one of the best character developments i have seen in a long time! The journey he has been on has been incredible from the start till now. So glad he was able to win the final! Looking forward to seeing whats next for his journey in the next season

Kreese wasn't the first one to break the cycle of using anything to win in the tournament - Johnny was in Season 1. This is why he tried to tell Miguel to fight clean and why he punished him and Hawk at the beginning of season 2.

I was happy to see Tori's transformation in Season 4. The most "tragic figure" this season was Kenny, the bullied kid, who had so much potential to become a better person. Unfortunately, Kenny got mixed up with Cobra Kai.

I like how terry really is the bad guy when it seemed like he changed.

I think what's so beautiful about this show is how every bad thing that happens in this show is caused by a character's mistake, and this season does it perfectly. Kenny becomes a cobra because of Anthony, Silver takes over because of Kreese, and Tory starts to disconnect from cobra kai because of Silver.

I really liked how the implemented Silver's character and his regression from a changed man to his old sinister self this season. He seemed like a changed man even admitting his old faults and the cinema-sins tier plotline of tormenting a teenaged kid for weeks on end back in the third movie. Kreese kept using their army days and the life debt to rope him back in, but even then when he decided to rejoin, Silver held a decent amount of restraint in telling the students to avoid retaliation against the other dojos and keeping it in the ring, contrasting with Kreese's approach, even going so far as to visit Daniel and actually try to talk it out. Watching him slowly spiral down and regress to his old ways after being continually belittled by Kreese to "stand down" and life debts continually brought up. All for saying even Kreese had a weakness to the class. Seeing Kreese's ruthless take-no-shit methods and wanting to seek approval from his former hero, he even tricked Johnny into getting his ass kicked by them and even that pissed off Kreese. All Silver wanted to do was repay an old friend who continually refused to let go of his pride/ego and continually manipulate him. Watching Silver surpass even Kreese's ruthlessness was quite sad considering where he came from since the beginning of the season.

Just an epic season allround that just grips you and moves forward from the start till the end with all kinds of crazy stuff.
Expanding the Miyagiverse aswell in the process and in my opinion making the pop culture original movie trilogy even better!

10/10 would watch season 4 again, NEED S5 NOW!
