These are some pricey dumbbells but they get the job done with way less space and versatility!

Thinking these are the way to go for me! I currently have a traditional hex dumbbells set from 5 to 60 lbs. I need a set of 70's and 80's, but they'd easily cost me $500. This has a much smaller footprint and I could prob sell my old dumbbells and only be out a few hundred. Thanks Michael!

Most racks of fixed dumbbells I've seen cost about twice as much for a comparable weight range as these 5 - 80 lb Nuobells (and take up more than twice the space). Not sure why everyone is tripping about Nuobells being expensive. Also, ANY adjustable dumbell is more fragile than fixed, so that's the trade off. Just don't drop them or treat them like a caveman. They are what they are. I think if you have the $, and the space for fixed dumbbells, they are the best option, but if not, adjustables are a great option.

I tried these in the store and I was impressed. They are exactly like a real dumbell set instead of the Bowflex ones that are awkward to hold.

There's a new model set to ship Feb
2025 some of the plastic components have been upgraded to aluminum for the matte black version including the holder.

Had these for about 8 months, and the 5lb plate already broke off. I don't drop it, or throw it. Was extremely careful with them, but still broke. Turns out the piece that holds the 5lbs plates to the handle is literally a thin piece of plastic on both sides. This isn't built for longevity. Luckily they have a 2 year warranty, but look at other videos on YouTube, after the 2 years, a lot of people had theirs break, and you can't fix it because the handle is one piece, so you're pretty much screwed.

Hi Michael, are they noisy during reps - do the plates bang off each other or are they locked in and quiet? Thank you

It is concerning that they are so fragile for that price. PowerBlock dumbbells seem much harder to break.
