I have NEVER seen this explained SO WELL!! Bravo, Judge Fleischer, for explaining the meaning of the 10th Amendment and pointing out things like the difference between various license plate colors and designs, to illustrate same.

To the defendants credit he listened, did not talk over the judge and held his ground without raising his voice. His arguments are ridiculous but his behaviour in court was way more reasonable than most “sovits”

God I love Fleischer. What resonated with me is how he talks to the defendant, well, not like a defendant, but as a coach talking to a a player, or a teacher to a student. He wanted to educate him, and was advising as best as he legally could to not defend himself. He didn't present himself from a holier than thou position, but rather that he was armed with the education and experience to guide a fellow person. Also I loved the part where he says, "if no one had jurisdiction over me, why would I... put on clothes. Because you know how much I like to be naked".

Legendary. This is THE SovCit appearance that we have all been waiting for. Fleischer was as giddy for this moment as all of us. There will be an endless stream of more SovCit appearances coming our way, but this very well may be the high water mark. Love it.

Judge Fleischer has that rare ability to balance friendly guidance, unvarnished facts, humor, and pure savagery. I’m sure those before him wonder whether they’re getting schooled or are appearing in an SNL skit ambush.
