Create Time Intelligence Formulas in Power Pivot

This video covers some DAX time intelligence functions (of which there are 30+). It will just cover a few that deal with find out totals to date (month, quarter, year), comparing totals with the current date to a previous dates (days, month, quarter, year) and cover how to create running totals and averages. I inputted my MTDSALE, QTRTD, YEARTD AND AVE RUNNING TOTAL they all worked, but the Previous month, prv year, pre day did not work, it showing blank... what should I do
