I coach a lot of speakers on their TEDx talks and find the most successful, who connect best with an audience, are the ones who show up to give, not to take.

It was the same when I was a professional magician. My show transformed for the better when I stopped trying to *get* a reaction from the audience, and started trying to *give* them an experience.

Before hitting record ask yourself, "What can I give my audience that will make this worth their time and attention?" It's a very different question than, "How can I make content that will gain subscribers and grow my channel?"

I swear I don't do this on purpose, but big YouTuber energy to me (right now anyway) comes down to consistency, confidence, and content. It's recognizing you have something to offer, and showing up everyday to offer it.

Throughout my life I've always received some sort of external validation that "proved" that I was who I said I was. Whether an "A" in a class, a degree, a certain job & salary it feels like there's always been something that I've been able to point to as proof. And this YouTube journey has really challenged that mindset. Like to be honest, with each video deep down I look to it's performance to validate our channel's existence. And trying to adopt "Big Youtuber Energy" BEFORE receiving the external validation is something that I'm struggling with. BUT I'm doing my best to not let our traditional way of thinking get in the way of trying to let our Big Youtuber Energy shine and show up consistently until something happens!

I had to stop using those small YouTuber hashtags, because I didn't want to label my channel as small. My channel will be big. I don't think anyone should "speak" small YouTuber into their future.

I think big youtuber energy is all that you mentioned in this video especially being disciplined in your thought life.
Believing that there are people listening and applying all that you are saying, and so you have a plan for where you are leading them.

I try to plan my videos as though they were stairs and the viewers are waiting for the next step so they can keep climbing.
Not easy but I try. At least I have that intention because I’m climbing those stairs myself.

I go through the ebb and flows of happiness and frustration with my channel... you can make content, get high view duration, but minimal clicks... ugh ...
I believe one day this is gonna be full time but I have a lot to learn... twice a week consistency is what I’m sticking with, gonna keep showing up and do my best with energy!

I think big youtuber energy is simply being true to who you are. You are always clear and dedicated to your why. A lot of creators try to build channels based on trends or what some successful channel is doing. That is rarely sustainable

Bigtuber energy is owning your space, believing you have value to add to people and that the grace on your life is for people.
