When I started being my self and speaking as if I were legit talking to a friend during my voiceovers my channel really started doing better.
I use to raise the pitch of my voice, use the "how to diy" inflections" while speaking and not add my own personality in voiceovers. When I stopped that my channel did better. I get more comments (good and sometimes bad) about my voice/ speech than anything else on my my channel. I actually had someone comment on an older video the other day that said " I know this video is old, but what happened to your voice" 😂

I need to be consistent. I am the most flakey uploader and I know I am my own worst enemy in growth. I need to buckle down and get a solid schedule

This is just what i needed. My channel has grown a lot in the past 12 months (250 - 5, 000 subs) making parody songs for my favourite football team, and it works. But it's difficult to get a new song out once a week so i try to do one a month, sometimes 2. But i do not have an official schedule yet. I'm going to sit down a plan one after watch this video and implement it from Jan 1st. Thanks for the upload Roberto i appreciate you mate.

The trouble is, I don't know what a better thumbnail is - that's what I am trying to learn. I really do appreciate you going beyond the same old statements and adding something new.

In the small car community I do feel like the more you get out and meet people and build those relationships, it also helps the channel.

Roberto, thanks for the tips. You've helped me grow my channel over the past year and I thank you for that!

Thank you for saying it! I think it's more applicable to listen to tips about growing a youtube channel from people who haven't grown their channel only by posting tips on how to grow. The niche is easier than other niches.

I love how you gave examples to every tip, made it easier to be able to see exactly what you meant.
I'm currently on the making 100 crappy videos and learning to be consistent phase. But will definitely have to think about adding the other tips as well.
Thanks for this Roberto!

That last point is tricky! Looking forward to seeing how you tackle that, other than just making videos at a length that fits your audience's sweet spot.
