Keanu Reeves Takes a Backseat for New 'John Wick' Series

Keanu Reeves will not appear in the upcoming 'John Wick' series. According to Deadline Hollywood, a new series titled John Wick: Under the High Table is in the works, following the events of John Wick: Chapter 4. Reeves, focusing on another highly-anticipated TV series, will work backstage as a producer. Franchise director Chad Stahelski will direct the first episode and is heavily involved in the project. Details about the cast are still under wraps, but the series will introduce new faces and continue the legacy of the John Wick universe. This series follows the success of The Continental: From the World of John Wick and will stand apart from the planned fifth John Wick film and the upcoming spin-off Ballerina starring Ana de Armas.
