Personally, I feel Alicia Silverstone and Uma Thurman surprisingly worked as Batgirl and Poison Ivy in "Batman and Robin (same goes for the late Michael Gough as Alfred)." Everyone else, though...not so much.

Unpopular opinion: Show Girls was actually good 🤔 I kept hearing and reading so many bad reviews about it that I avoided the movie for years. Then one day I sat down and watched it and was like "This movie isn't as bad as they said it would be" After that I started watching movies that critics said were horrible that actually turned out to be good. Note to self: Never take people's word for it, always investigate for yourself.

The Tom Cruise Mummy was not a reboot of the Brendan Fraser Mummy Series. It was supposed to be part of the Dark Pictures Anthology with a remake of Dracula, Frankenstein and others.

The reason the dark universe failed I think it's because they tried to turn them into superhero movies instead of true horror movies like the classics. If they did a shot for shot remake of the original movies with updated but practical VFX I think they would have done way better at the box office.
