True Sigma archetypes couldn't care less if someone thinks they are a Sigma or not. Alpha pretenders on the other hand are very concerned...

Once again a very accurate video. Can't figure out if you're a Sigma or not? Look only to what your nature is. A Sigma everything ya own or have serves a practical purpose and not for show and validation. Do you like wearing trendy clothes and shoes, your not a Sigma. Like to deck out your car or truck, your not a Sigma unless that serves a practical purpose. Core character traits of a Sigma is: independent, logical, rational, practical, introspective, authentic, and enjoys solitude let alone be comfortable with. But that doesn't mean ya like solitude 100% of the time, just most of the time.

Funny how people would try to fake being a Sigma. A real Sigma would spot any of these from a mile away, and would probably humiliate them if they got the opportunity. We like deflating balloons. Honesty is our core value.

I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Japanese-American and male. A PROUD Sigma! Here are two areas that I DO fail as a Sigma: I don't have many close friends. In 2003, my Dad unexpectedly passed away, and 30 is also the age where male friends "tend to drift apart." So, I had the double whammy in terms of timing. I LIKE my alone time, but I do use "I'm a Sigma" as too much of an excuse as to why I'm a loner. I like to do my own thing, and my own schedule, too much. Being an only child contributed to that. Second, I fall short in terms of "comparing myself to others." Why did I not go to my 2021 high school graduation? Because I'd have classmates who were GRANDPARENTS, by 48, and I'd feel like "I was behind their curve." Because at 51 in 2024, I've still never been married and have no children, I SELF-declare myself as "Having accomplished NOTHING In life." That's because I'm comparing myself to OTHER 51 year olds, who HAVE been married, and now have GRANDCHILDREN. One that I USED to fall short on, is criticizing others. My ex girlfriend complained that I "ripped on ugly people too much, " to which I replied, "Gee Gwarsh Honey, I'll stop ripping on you!" Why did I USED to rip on ugly people? My OWN insecurities!

Point number three is the most revealing. Blaming others for one's own mistakes, problems and shortcomings is a specialty of a former curling skip of mine.
A beta male, you might ask? Pfft! He doesn't have the backbone to qualify as a beta male. He is also the biggest whiner you will ever meet. He has a guy who has been playing lead on his team for almost a decade now and who is the most pathetic, useless excuse for a curler you could ever imagine! Almost a decade later, he STILL doesn't know when to sweep. He's STILL throwing rocks into the side boards. Do you know why? It's because his skip doesn't have the balls to say anything or do anything about it!

I eventually quit that team and became my own skip. Near the end of that same season, my former skip sat beside me in the lounge and whined, 'Awww, gee. I sure could've used a THIRD this year.'. That was the position I played on his team. I was his vice-skip. I just thought to myself, 'Bud, when you HAD a third, you played like you didn't give a sh--!'.

Prior to the start of what would be my final year on his team, I sent him an e-mail. In that e-mail, I told him I wanted to see some improvement from the two guys who formed his front end, and specifically, the guy playing lead. I never received a response, and of course, the same problems never improved.

If there's anything I can't stand, it's people who refuse to take responsibility for their own actions and stupidity.

I am combined of sigma and alpha. I dont like to be outside, I like to grow my space, I like to have few females, but There are some period when I just want to be alone outside the society
