Hi, I'm Frank my channel is all about 3D printing. I can't get enough of my 3D printer. I make everything and anything out of 3D filament (PLA, PETG and more). As I say a printer that is not printing is a missed opportunity.

I'll be doing electronics, mechanics, computer engineering, DIY, reviews and tutorials.

Very nice. I hope you get a Monoprice Delta Mini soon and do the same thing. Looking forward to part 2.

Hi Frank!~ Great video and explanation on that Monoprice MIni V2 upgrade. I have the same printer and considering doing this upgrade. I guess you will explain the benefits of this upgrade in part 2. Merci!

This is real nice although I'm scare to modify my mpsm.. I have 7 printers including a MakerBot mini and my mpsm is my most reliable machine, blow the dust off hit print and walk away I don't even have to check for first layer adhesion the thing always works..

Hello Frank, I am out of the loop and am not sure of the benefits of the upgrade you so carefully documented for us.

My machine ran for 60 days flawlessly but then the heat bed failed due to wiring issue that almost everyone encounters with this machine. It’s been so long now I scarcely recall precisely the solution to fix it.

Are you sure that the aliexpress link is the correct ones for the TMC2100?

Frank--just a quick note to let you know that it might be good to increase the height of the standoffs on the printed piece to which the MKS Gen L gets attached. I don't know how widespread the problem is, but, on my MKS board, the pins on the AC connections stick too far through the board, and interfere with the attachment. Those 4 pins protrude about 3.2mm while the rest are about half that. It looks like the standoffs should be another 2mm tall to be sufficient.

I've got all parts printed and am looking forward to proceeding. (TFT is still on the way, but should be here soon.)

Frank, this is awesome! Subscribed! I have two Select Mini V2s, and I will convert both eventually. I would prefer to use a larger LCD (because I am old and my eyes are not so good) - something like the MKS TFT32. Access to the memory card is not so important to me, and it can be made external with addition of another PCB. I can't figure out how to edit your front panel to make the necessary changes. Is it possible to edit stl files in this manner? Or is there a 3D source file that you can provide?

I have a V1. How well will the brackets fit on that unit?
You don't talk about flashing the firmware to the MKD Gen L board. Is this discussed elsewhere or is this scheduled for another video?
In the trailer you talk about alternatively using TMC2130 drivers. Do you intend to talk about this later? I like the idea of using SPI to adjust these drivers.
I've been waiting for this and intend to do this if it applies to V1. Just let me know. I think a lot of V1 users would like to give this a try.
Keep up the good work!

Awesome! Ive been waiting on this, ordering all the parts tomorrow. I do have some questions :)

1. I currently have 3 fans (mainboard, hotend and part cooling). Is it possible to have 3 fans with this mainboard?

2. Ive upgraded to the Nema 17 leadscrew on Z. Does this affect the vref voltage?

3. When is the next episode coming? 👍😁

Slt Franck. The adjustment of the vref needs to be done with motors in hold position for better accuracy. Regards
