iPhone SE 2022: DONT make the wrong choice!

I started my ios journey with the iPhone se 2020.
It was good but had to change it within a month because of poor battery life.
Had to charge 2.5 to 3 times per day.

As a starter to the Apple Eco system. I ordered the 128 gig SE3. I am coming from a, 4 year old Android phone with only 16 gig of memory. By the way, I forgot to put my phone on charge on Friday night week. By Sunday morning 48 hours later, I still had 20 percent battery left.

3:09 yes Mark's tech, the point is if you have the money if you do not have the money you cannot buy to upgrade even so the device that you have is terrible.
If your device is good enough, then you just keep it until you have enough money, to buy something better.

It's not for me, but there's definitely a market for it. The se 2020 was one of the best selling phones globally last year. There are quite a few people who refuse to let touch id go. This is who this is targeting. 1080p screen would be nice, but on a 4.7in screen, 720p is sufficient.

I caved and preordered and will be using the new SE as a backup. I think it’s the best use for this type of phone.

Your opinion is spot on about the iPhone SE it's going to be okay for people who love the old design and are on a super budget but for anyone who uses social media or watches content on their phone that screen and storage just won't cut in 2022

Same old Apple....why don't they use the mini as a se? Bigger screen, take out face ID for side mounted finger print reader for cheaper price.

I think if they ditched the 5G, made the base storage 128 GB, somehow made the battery last all day (maybe with the new chip without 5G that would be possible) and kept the price at $400

Honestly would be the perfect first phone for any kid and the perfect phone for any old person that doesn't use their phone a lot

I just bought this phone with tax it was $460 for the 64gb model. It’s not so much the features as it is Longevity. I like to be able to walk into a store 3 years later and be able to get my battery and charger port replaced no problem. iPhones are the most popular devices around so no problem them. I can’t say the same thing about my Pixel 3a I had since 2019. Also, my pixel only got 3 years of updates. Most androids are lucky to get more than 2. With iPhones you could easily get almost 10 years out of them. The old iPhone SE original from 2016 is 6 years old now and is still getting the latest updates. Not to mention it also has the most powerful SOC ever in a phone and 5G so it’s well prepared for the future.

I'm someone who uses a 32 GB ipod touch and am upgrading to iphone se 3. I still have 8GB storage left on my device, I honestly doubt I'll run out of storage on the 64 GB SE as someone extremely conservative on what photos and apps I keep. Also, I think screen brightness has a surprising effect on battery life and that might be what causes non-tech savvy users to run out of battery easily still. The only thing I'll honestly use it for outside of home is texting, music and occasional photos or maybe google docs, and I'm legitimately used to tiny dim screens. Part of why I want the SE is it's smaller size, I'll actually be able to fully and easily use it one-handed unlike the absolute chonkster of the iphone 11 where you have to readjust it in your hand just to tap the top part of the screen, and you have very little grip. Unless you're big Shaq.
I'd say the iPhone 12 mini which you can find refurbished for about $400 is the biggest competition (Though the battery health/other condition isn't always great in refurbished and a battery replacement costs $69 [nice though]) with 4x4 vs 2x2 MIMO 5G (Faster bc more antennas basically) and obviously a much bigger screen while still smaller form factor. It's gonna have roughly the same battery performance though probably. I think it's a great option for a lot of people, though I chose the SE 3 over it because of a slightly newer chip, less shady due to not being refurbished, now that I think about it it's also easier to reach the top of the screen, and ultimately I'm uncomfortable with Face ID.

There are ten woman I work with in my unit; none of them have android. 2 of them have a Face ID iPhone. The other 8 have either iPhone 8plus or iPhone SE 2020. Taking into account the youngest one is 42, there is definitely a market for this new iPhone. Everyone has a charger at their desk so battery isn’t really an issue for them, at work at least.

Like it or not, the SE 3 is essential as the only way to get a NEW iPhone if you’re one of the 10% who can’t use OLED due to PWM.

The deal breaker for me with the SE is the battery life, I use Bluetooth devices all the time for music, and for my smart band.. the SE wouldn't even last me through afternoon.

The things I’m disappointed with the most is the phone doesn’t include mmWave or 4x4 mimo 5G only 2x2, it still starts at 64 gb, the price was raised by $30 but doesn’t include a 5w charger or earphones like my SE 2020 did, and they downgraded the Gigabit LTE antenna to the older LTE advanced antenna with all this done they are using even more cheaper recycled parts but still find ways to raise the price lol.

se 2022 is the only 5g iphone with touch id at the moment... that design and screen though :(
