I'm 13.
I mostly play like a "senior" besides the truck choice. I only use modern trucks. Sometimes I just feel like driving like a maniac and see how fast my truck can go.

I have seen this "evolution" with me. I have 420 hours over 5 years currently in ETS2 (no joke actually 420)
At hour 200 I was still a very agressive driver. You know doing 170 and stuff like that. Then I mdecides to download some Mods and here I am now driving realistically like real life. I drive on the 1:1 Heilbronn map, doing realistic speeds (88km/h in an 80km/h is normal in Germany for trucks) Have adaptive cruise control (it's in vanilla you should try it) and many physics and realism mods activated (liveries, dirty wheels, dirty paint, etc) and it is really fun just gettign on a nomral sized highway, setting your cruis control to 88 and then forget about speed (just like real truckers) and steer to your exit. It's really calming.

But sometimes I still find myself guilty of doing over 160 on highways. Especially with friends (I play the game 4 years longer than them) I often do 160 with them. The other day we did a race from Austria to bulgaria it was really fun and I came in last because I got rammed by glitched AI

I`m 15 years old. I play ets2 since 2018 or 19. I can agree with some things, but I wait traffic jams! Other things are true. My pc is trash, I floor the gas on open roads(even tough I don`t break any other laws), and I play a lot. Nice video!

5:32 i usually drive around 5kph faster than the speed limit which is kind of realistic since most real life drivers do that aswell
in germany, trucks are only allowed to give 60 on normal roads, but many still go 70-80

34 years old, 3x 43 inch TV surround with skrs shifter, 1500 hours on the game and recently passed my HGV licence. This sim was a great tool for helping me get my licence.

I play ets2 since 2016 and i'm trying to drive as realistic as possible. But when I get bored I drive very fast :D

The older players pc setup for ets2 is missing some things .... at least a steering wheel. And the monitor looks pretty average at best. Not to mention that having only 1 monitor is fully outdated... :D
As for using the 'classical' 4*2 chassis .... those are usually the ones with the highest gasoline capacity, so you have to go less often to a gas station for a refill.

I don't have a pc currently my pc when i was in 9th standard having gt710 play at low graphics and had a dream to play on ultra but now i don't even play any game

in 17, but i like to play like if i was driving a real truck, following the speed limits, traffic rules, etc. i bought a cockpit with a steering wheel, and once i accidentally hit a car and i almost stepped out of my seat to say "sorry" 😂😂

I’m a student. Before I couldn’t spend a lot of time in front of the PC and the old PC sucks. Average FPS was like, 15. I used to drive recklessly. I damaged my truck, for a million times. Now, I, maybe because of YouTubeer’s influence, don’t play the game recklessly anymore. Or maybe because of the busy Secondary School life, I enjoy so much driving slowly and being able to escape from my life which is so rush, always.

I've been playing these games on and off since 18 wheels of steel haulin, and one thing I notice is, I could kinda want to drive realistic but if i'm playing a sim i'm driving faster than I would IRL. Usually I drive semi realistically. I took out any violations and tickets because many times I would get tickets for driving 51km/h in a 50. I would drive a bit over the speed limit (without tipping of course haha) but still inside the lines and stuff, and I would end up driving at around 100-110 on highways. Then on cities I would drive normally ie using traffic lights and waiting for jams because otherwise I wouldn't be able to move anyway. I'm 27 and I think i've been playing this since I was 15-16 combining a total of maybe 200hours since I play other games
