Started working on this back when episode 3 of Kenobi came out, never found the motivation to finish it until now. Also, this is my first time editing live action since like 36 years, so keep that in mind if there's something I forgot or could've done differently, but all feedback is appreciated!

This song is phenomenal. It’s universal to practically every personal tragedy. Touching on the tragedy of loss, of lost futures, bitterness and the death of what was.

And it’s such a profoundly bitter thing to say, “I wish my pain on you.” an opposite of the “I wouldn’t wish my pain on anyone.”
With “I want you to hurt like you hurt me today and I want you to lose like I lose.”

Arcane was truly masterful from its characters to its music.

Star Wars is fraught with ups and downs but I still think that the through line of the Prequels about the fall of Anakin and the fallout affecting those closest to him was still a great tragic story.
This complication was an excellent fusion showing all of it.

It's honestly nothing short of a miracle Oni-wan didn't break like Anakin did.
He was the father Anakin needed...yet even that wasent enough.

"I'm sorry Anakin...for all of it"
It kills you inside knowing after everything HE blames himself for it all, his masters death, the purge, his brothers fall. Yet Anakin's words both lift the burden and bring an even worse one on him:

"you didn't kill Anakin Skywalker...*I* Did~"

In one sentence he brands himself as the sole means of why the galaxy is in darkness now.

Seeing Obi-Wan RISE in his Power and defeat Vader was AMAZING!!! You finally see just how POWERFUL he truly is! If Anakin/Vader is Lucifer/Satan with his Lust for Power and Fall from Grace Obi-Wan is The Archangel Michael casting him from Paradise!

This is beautiful. Since i was a kid, I’ve wondered what kind of PTSD obi wan would have had after the revenge of the sith, and the show did a good job conveying the anguish he felt… but this… dude. This video breaks my heart. I love it.

The kenobi show hammer’s home just how broken and alone Obi wan and Anakin both are after the tragic and heartbreaking scene on Mustafar at the end of revenge of the Sith. The kenobi show also shows how emotionally damaged both Obi wan and Anakin are by everything that happened to them and how innocent, optimistic and young they were when Qui gon died and how they both had too grow up far too quickly and how neither of them could live up to the dogmatic perfection the people like Mace Windu damanded in the end.Although Obi wan did try too for a long time .

One of the best edits I’ve seen of this show. Loved the small part with Ahsoka too. Seeing these 3 in live action is something I’ll always be grateful for after feeling forgotten as a clone wars fan in 2014-18

This vid started off good, but when it got to the climax I actually started crying. Like, the RotS and Kenobi didn't make me cry, but you did. Obi-Wan's "I'm sorry, Anakin" over the Scene That Shall Not be Named fucking *hurt* to see. Ewan's acting there was so perfect. You could just hear the years of guilt and regret and self-torture coming out like a dam had been broken. And it hurts even more knowing that Obi-Wan *isn't* responsible for what happened to Anakin. Obi-Wan did everything he could to help Anakin, but Ani made his choices. That's on him, not Obi-Wan—but I digress. You always have the most brilliant way of matching scenes, dialogue, and music, something that felt extra-potent in this edit. And speaking of music, what an excellent choice of song! Arcane is literally the only show in the world I love even more than TCW, so you're just combining my two favorite universes here. I'll cut my rambling short since I have to get to class, but thank you as always for this beautiful video <3
