I have a toilet door with covered screws both sides and the explanation of the small brass tab in the handle solved this problem for me. Handle all tightened up and 100% better than before. Thank you for the video!

Thanks for the tip at 2:50, mate! The knob held back a decorative plate that stopped me from getting at the screws. I knew there had to be some way to take the doorknob off.

My landlord sent a guy out a month ago to replace my doorknob. He botched the job, and I could only escape my house if I turned the knob 37.63 degrees eastward. Any more or less and I was doomed to rattle the knob for eternity in hopes it would clasp its internals and "catch".

Following this guide, I removed it and re-installed the same knob in a matter of two minutes. Makes me wonder why my landlord sent a knob to fix the knob.

I found my smallest Allen key was good to push the pin when the screws were hidden. Then there was a small spring clip holding the plate.

Got one of these but for a front door, the metal round bulb that you pull the door open with came off and wont go back on, is it stuffed and do I have to get a new one completely or can they be glued on etc?

Hey there Bill, have the exact same door knob/lock, is this possible to remove from the outside? The screws are on the inside part of the door.
