Why is this sheikh tapping the paint of this car with this device? So what’s it for, and how does it work? Well this device is called the Magnetic Paint Checker, and you’ve probably seen people using them at public car auction centers. It is designed to check for hidden body repairs or extra layers of paint on a car Because when a car has been in an accident, repair shops often repaint it and that extra layer of paint can lower its value or signal past damage. here is how it works, if the car has been repaired with body filler, the magnet at the tip of the device won’t stick as strongly to the car's surface when touched, giving the buyer a clue that the car might have had an accident or repainting.

How about the cars that have composite or non ferrous metal body panels that a magnet won’t stick to?

Will the paint checker scratch the car?

What the bullsh*t is you saying ? It’s about if the car was repaired with filler and not been fixed properly. Not just cause it was repainted 💀. Having a car with filler all over its bad sign it means even the structure of it to be in bad shape so it’s a coffin on wheels.

Uneducated video. A sheikh is a title. Like a king or ruler. A guy in a white robe is not automatically a sheikh. If you don't know that then I doubt anything else in this video is accurate.
