That's my priority for this week now that ContemporaryAThon is done :) So glad you weren't disappointed by it! I do really enjoy George R.R. Martin's writing - I thought I'd be soo confused but I'm having such an amazing time reading it! Can't wait to watch the live show!! So many 5 stars, that's incredible!! Rape is a hard topic and to people who already loved and know people who have done fucked up things its so hard to wrap your head around so books like GMOS is so important.

Facing racial hatred as a brown girl seriously is so hard, I don't wear a hijab so I know for a fact my experience isn't as bad esp as I am not Muslim but really ignorant people only see colour and make that association. I think it's important that the book exists and though to your friend it wasn't a good example it shows Mafi and many other girls' reality which is so great imo!

I love Game of Thrones, but it’s such a tough read. Watching the show helps! I use the pictures of the actors to help me remember who is who as I’m reading!

Girl Made of Stars ripped my heart apart, but I loved it and it's an important book. Funny story: I had read it as a library book and the day I finished it I loved it so much that I drove right to the bookstore to buy my own copy. 😊

I loved A Game of Thrones so much whenever I read it it feel so cosy and at home. I wanted to read it with you in the readalong but was reading Robin Hobb's Ship of Magic at the time which meant I couldn't 😰
