Never heard of Isola before but it sounds so good, definitely my kind of book. Another book added to my never ending TBR 😂

I'm always amazed at people who can read or listen to 23 books in a month, not even when they are able to do that in half a month. But, I realize some people speed read. I just finished book 9 (reading and listening), which I feel is good. Looking for my next book. I think I'm interested in unloved.... thanks for your thoughts on all of your reads.

A Death in Diamonds by S. J. Bennett, the Queen solves a murder in the 1950's with the help of her female secretary. It is the 4th book she has written. I love these books. I miss the Queen, she was the best

I plan to make Deep End my next read! I am sad you didn't love it, I have been hearing similar reactions.

Great recap! The Hathaways is Chef’s Kiss ❤ Mine Til Midnight is still one of my top romances! Still have to read the rest of the series, so I’m checking out your video about it 😊 I often wish that The Hathaway’s had a show like Bridgerton ….. we can only see it in our minds for now ❤

I’m currently reading Unloved by Peyton Corinne and I’m not too far into it but I’m enjoying it a lot :)

I’m actually learning how to skip books that everyone loves if I didn’t care for the first book or just thought it was ok. I won’t mention names because I’m glad others love them and get something from them. But for me, it’s just nice to not feel like I have to read them because I must have missed something great if everyone else is raving about them. My TBR is long enough, lol! 🍇🍇

I loved The Wall of Winnipeg years ago but haven't liked any of her other books. I agree the body humor is annoying.

It’s so bonkers to me that people are upset about Ali Hazelwood having a lot spice in her new book. Like did people not read Bride? She’s never been closed door. Maybe the book is just all spice and no plot, but again even that-it’s pretty odd to complain about a romance novel having spice. Oh well. I’ve only read one or two of her books that I enjoy. I need a great plot or extra spice just doesn’t hit so I will skip that one.

Gosh, how do you do it? I did 19 in Jan, I'm on 8 this month.... I found some gems but a lot of disappointing books too.
