Hello ! thank you soooo much for the great video with very amazing instruction ! one question please, for var: Historical = 'Calendar'[Date] .... is 'Calendar'[Date] a measure or simply a date column ? my 'Calendar'[Date] is a date column and when i put in there, it shows greyed out, thanks !!

Great content. In the interest of saving someone else time, make sure to use a CALCULATED COLUMN, not a Measure. I was skipping through the video to get to the DAX and missed the instruction to create a calculated column. Thus promptly wasted an hour trying to get a measure to work.

How come your 'Calendar'[Date] is not greyed out? When I try this, my 'Calendar'[Date] in greyed out as a first argument after AND. The error says "A single value for column 'Date' in table 'Calendar' cannot be determined. This can happen..."

Hello, I have a query similar to this.
I have a table with different month columns of the previous year and the current year. So in my current table previous_01 is Jan 2020 and Current_01 is Jan 2021 and so on.What my customer wants that column should be dynamic and not static. So if we refresh data next year, the column name Previous_01 should change into Jan 2021 and not Jan 2020. Similarly, for column name Current_01 should change into Jan 2022 and not Jan 2021. Any idea how to achieve this?

In all your CALCULATE statements, you use Table filters instead of Column filters, this slows your calculations heavily.
