How to repot an orchid (and not kill it)

How to repot an orchid (phalaenopsis orchid or moth orchid repotting)
This is an orchid in recovery. It is planted in tree bark. Bark decomposes fairly quickly. When it does, the particles become small and very fine, so they retain much more water than in the past, when they were large bark chips. Retaining water for too long can cause root rot. This is why it's even more imortant for orchids to repot them once a year. More important than other houseplants.
➡️You can see this plant has some soft, mushy roots, I cut them off. Whenever the outer layer of the roots can be easily pulled off, leaving only the middle string, that root is dead, cut it off. It spent too much time in water.
➡️Cut off all roots that are not firm and white, gray or green. Also cut off everything that looks completely dry and dead, like the remains of the last flower stalk
➡️Don't be afraid to cut, you won't harm the plant. Cutting roots will promote new root growth
➡️Repot in new tree bark
➡️Water under a faucet. Fill up the pot with water and drain it well.
Once you figure out the right placement for your orchid, in terms of light, they are one of the easiest plants. And are plants that you can pretty much water on a schedule.
Let me know if you are experiencing any problems :)
